This weeks theme is Death. No particular reason, but some forethought and planning about the envitable is a good idea.

  • MHP Casket Kits - this place has plans so you can make your own casket or coffin. They also sell ready made ones. Fuck, they're expensive. Save those Amazon boxes and make your own one - the dead person won't notice, they're dead.

  • Casket Express - someone died and you want to embalm them, bury them and grieve all within 24 hours and get the whole sorry process out of the way asap? The Casket Express is your website of necessity. They also have themed coffins. Check out this Fireman's coffin. If I kick the bucket soon, then I'd like my dear mother to get a Shiola.com themed coffin. Also, put a mobile phone in it too, just in case. Actually, will I be able to get reception 6 feet under? Make it a hardwired telephone instead.

  • Pet Memorials - has a pet died recently? Leave a message at the Eternal Pet memorial website. Some brilliant messages, check out the Amphibians section - "We miss you and your funny faces" - for a toad, but also apt for some humans too.

  • The Hearse Enthusiast - you need to transport that rotting carcus to get buried or burned, here a great selection of wheels. Hearse's make great cars, I want one.

  • Motor Cycle Burials - don't restrict yourself to a car, you can get to The Pearly Gates via a motorbike.

  • 10 Facts Funeral Directors Don't Want You To Know - funeral directors are onto a winning formula, everyone's going to die. They still want to screw the living for every penny they have though. Keep your eyes peeled next time you're burying a loved one.

  • Funeral Cast - film, record and then host your own funeral online for the world to see.

  • PushinDaisies.com - selling novelty death stuff.

  • Funeral In Space - an article on Space.com about sending your ashes into space. What's the point? I'd much rather have my whole body shot out into space as soon as I die, along with a few things. Then I might be discovered by some Aliens and they can bring me back to life. I'd then show them pictures of loads of hot chicks and say that they are my mortal enemy, but they should experiment on me and test my reactions to these hot chicks.
