Job Applications

Simple stuff, but have you actually done it?

Just find a job in a paper, magazine or the internet and just apply for it on behalf of your friend/victim. Don't tell them about it either. This is vital, as we were down the pub one day and then one of my mates just said out of the blue;

"I got a letter from 'Ann Summers' saying that they thank me for my application but they haven't any positions for me. My CV will be kept on file (?)...I'm not even looking for a job?!"

Funnier in real life than on a web page, let me assure you.

You can start by checking out some of these recruitment sites below. Remember, you have the power of anonymail at your finger tips! Also, if any of your friends ask you to give their CV the once over before they apply for a job, just say 'yes'. Get them to email it to you, and then let the games commence.

• Berkeley University - Physics and Astronomy Job Hunting Resources.

• Library HQ - job hunting tips for Librarians.

• Aviation Jobs - see if your friends can fly.

• NASA Astronaut - this one might take you ages to acheive, but imagine the look on NASA's face and your friends!

• Science Jobs - general egghead jobs.

• Fish4Jobs - find a job local to you in the UK.

• Adult Staffing - It's free if you sign up as a 'candidate'...go on, do it.

This concept can also be adequately expanded into 'Television Shows'. Imagine the look on my mates face when he received a letter from 'The Jerry Springer Show' saying that when they come to the UK they might get in touch...then imagine the look on his face when he read the letter I had sent Jerry...then imagine the look on his face when they actually rang him...then imagine the look on your face when I say that last bit's a lie...then imagine the look on my face when you close this window and go to another website...save yourself
