Welcome dirtpoor357. Funnily enough I was speaking to someone the other day and it got around to religion, I said I wasn't religious, she said "So you don't believe in anything?" - I said no, I believe it all means nothing. Which is kind of funny believing in something, and the thing you believe in is that there is no meaning to anything.

One of the side effects is being bored, because what's the point of doing anything if there's no meaning? I suppose the only purpose is procreating and having fun - which ain't bad really, plus it excludes getting up early on a Sunday morning and singing really crap songs.

If we were to create a new religion called 'Shiolaism' what would it consist of?

Eh, I think it would probably be pretty well hedonistic. Which isn't bad, except when it results in STDs and such...eesh.
