So there I am walking down the street on my way to get a coffee form the local Eastern European coffee shop and I pass a Christian Library Book shop. I take a look inside the window and on display is this book - 'A Parents Guide To Preventing Homosexuality' - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0830823794/qid=1090254328/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/104-1192129-1181523

You should read the reviews on Amazon. It either gets a 5 star review by some God fearing Christian, or a 1 star by.....well, everyone else.

Obviously this book is a crock of shit, but if you scan through the pages you can see some mock-wisdom;

"The first order of business of being a man," according to pyschoanalyst Robert Stoller, "is don't be a woman." - yeah, thanks for that.

The first chapter also has a qualifying quote from a Lesbian Activist, which I found confusing.

Just thought I'd bring this up as I never realised books like this existed, but then again I've never looked in a Christian bookshop window before so there's probably a whole world of 'knowledge' out there I'm missing out on.

It's about time that Christians accepted that they are suffering from an illness...but I will save that rant for another day...

Kurt Vonngut wrote a great book which you must read called 'Slaughter House 5' which is about as humanist a book as you can get, could easily be called 'Love Your Fucking Neighbour' or even better 'Fuck Your Fucking Neighbour' without fucking them over if you grab the nub of my jist. In it a race from outer space express surprise after watching the earth, that Christians find it so easy to be cruel to other people. Just about sums up most Christians, there are real saints around but they are the people who get shat on. No, Christians often have to offload all their repressed anger (look what it's done to Cliff Richard) and self loathing onto another group of people whom they see as inferior but would of course never dare admit the fact to anybody. Bit like the Nazis who bloody-well spelt out who they didn't like but were still inadequate litte wankers at heart, like a lot of Christians are, justifying their petty suburban prejudices via a pathetic belief system.

I might actually BUY this book and give it a VERY FAIR but scathing review...look out...

Then I'm going to write a book which will cure everybody in the world of the need to masturbate and seek out pornography and have a good time ever again. It will be called Harry Potter. Has anybody used that title before? Please advise?

Yeah, I read that one a few months back. I've got 'Breakfast of Champions' waiting in the wings too.

It was pretty good, although the aliens and constant time-travelling tested my meagre brain.

I know a guaranteed best seller - 'God is Gay' - the Bible has verses and sentences that can justify anything, so I'm sure you could find some that 'prove' God is a flaming Barbra Striesand fan who regularly goes to The Rocky Horror Picture Show and owns a Chihuahua (forgive me Lord for my blatant use of stereotypical imagery).

If The Three Wise Men weren't fellow uphill gardeners, mincing their way to a baby shower with jewelry and perfume, then I'm a sad lonely individual with only a website and 'virtual' friends for company....ooppps.
