Invent a sticker that comes off in one piece and doesn't permanently stain the case - you dicks.

Well, I absolutely agree with you.

I borrowed a DVD off a friend, watched it, then left it by the TV. My roommate then watched another DVD and left the DVD i borrowed on top of the box it came in. The box it came in had a little sticker that sealed it closed. So the DVD is sitting on the box directly on the sticker.

Two weeks later a try to remove the DVD but it's stuck on the box. I have to pull it off quickly, trying not to break it, and succeed but the DVD is scratched therefore putting my afore mentioned friendship in jeopardy.

I buy a replacement on eBay. So a simple task of borrowing a DVD has turned into a friggin hassle and costing me as I could have bought it in the first place - and it's all down to a poxy little sticker.

:whdat: - this emoticon now means that all stickers are mortal enemies of Shiola.com

O'yeah, the DVD was crap too, just to twist the knife on this whole beastly exercise.

What an unusual experience! You have every good reason to complain about it, but surely your friend would have appreciated your unfortunate predicament??

well, Shiola, it certainly sounds like shitluck on your end.

I know what you mean about stickers on cd's though, fuckin' sucks. Apparently Cockbuster Video has quit putting stickers on their video games and dvd's because they make it lopsided when it spins, thereby wearing out the dvd or playstation 2 or whatever you're using it on. Y'know?

Yeah.
