Hi all. I just wanted to say hi and bla bla bla. I'm from Colorado. Looking for something to add a little sparkle to my lonely, boring, bleek life. So I turn to you all.

Whoa!! Easy there son!! Our own lonely, boring, bleek lives need a little spark too....we were hoping YOU could add something for us?
OK, let's all put our hands together and call to the spirits of the past to guide us.........***shuts eyes, bows head and concentrates***
'O'Spirits of The Past, come into the present and guide us all into a future of bounty, sunshine, luxury, nubile lesbians, Lamborghini's and wisdom. Can you hear us spirits?...'

Well a little bit of both, actually.
It's a program called Pais Project, found here: http://www.paisproject.com
...though the Pais Project, Germany isn't really affiliated with Pais. So I'm not really sure why they claim to be a part of it. Anyways, it's really cool 'cause you get to work with kids and stuff and it's a lot like a foreign exchange student thing. I'll be living with a host family, etc. Only problem thus far is I don't speak much German.
Sprechen Sie langsamer bitte, ich spreche viel Deutsch nicht
is that true, are the Deutschland girls craaaaaaaayzeeeeeeeee? How about.... EASY?!!

Hit someone, then laugh.
That's a bummer. Have you received an official letter saying 'maybe next year'? Your friend maybe misinformed and/or having a laugh with you.
There's always The French Foreign Legion - have you seen Papillion?....don't.
