It's about a bunch of people who take Speed constantly. It's not bad, there's quick music-video like camera work and little weird bits, but if it's an intense and twisting plot you're after - this ain't it.
The only thing I couldn't really get into is, why do these people constantly take speed? Everytime I've done speed it was good for an evening out, but the day after I always felt like shit - maybe this film evoked some Pavlov-type memories for me, as I haven't done speed in quite a while and I don't intent to either.
It's kind of like a poor man's Trainspotting - The Amphetamine version. Not as much of a rush, not as expensive and definately not as addictive. Still worth watching though, as it's well put together and all that stuff, plus it ain't your 'run-of-the-mill' blockbuster either. It's good enough to keep you watching, but I doubt if I'll be able to recall much of it in a years time.
