There are some strange diseases out there that do some strange things to people, whether it's physical or mental.
I'm sure we can think of some new ones that haven't inflicted on the human race yet, but due to time being infinate, then all things become possible. Etch yourself into medical history by inventing, therefore discovering, a new disease.
There are three stages;
1. Naming the disease.
2. The symptoms of the disease.
3. The ultimate conclusion of the disease (eg. death, blindness, insanity, etc).
Shylock Tourettes
This involves the sufferer literally ripping chunks of flesh off his person and flinging them at people, uncontrollably. The sufferer mainly chucks flesh at strangers whom they find sexually attractive - fortunately this disease is not genetic, unfortunately it's contagious. If you are the recipient of a flesh throwing incident then you can catch the disease if any blood gets into your own blood stream. A Shylock Tourettes victim doesn't develop this until they reach sexual maturity, but they don't live long as they soon run out of flesh to throw and die.
A truly horrible disease, especially if you're fat.
