Hi, I would like to go to London around October(but it's optional) for a week or two (alone or with a partner). In exchange for accommodation and board I would offer Polish-English translation, computer writting or typing (or simmilar) or baby-sitting. My partner (if he decides on going to London) would do wallpaper work or house improvement jobs. Is there anyone who needs someone for work like that, and can offer bed&breakfast?

Hey, that's a good idea - trading work skills for accommodation. Unfortunately I can't help you, but good luck.

Maybe if you chuck in a traditional Polish meal into the bargain for the accomodator, then you could be in business - a cultural exchange.

Why does anybody want to go to London? It's dirty, VERY expensive, festooned with people begging, even on the trains, there is gun crime, drug crime and the people are pretty objectionable. You would want to be introduced to somebody else before you had a conversation with them in case of the high probability that they were an absolute tosser. A pint of beer is now £3 in London (x 1.8 to convert it to US$). You have been warned.
