the meaning of life.. repost - I wasn't logged in!!

This is what I feel:

The meaning of life is to be fully aware and enlightened. Meditate every day, and look within yourself for the answer. We are spiritual beings with a physical appearance, not the other way around.

the meaning of life is feeling fulfilled and happy.

i am inclined to agree with the "look inside yourself" philosophy,
but that apparently works in direct contradiction to happiness.

it comes down to "the stupid versus the smart" idea ...
as in, who really is smarter? those who have intelligence and think a lot and therefore hold the world's many problems on their shoulder?
or people who watch t.v. all the time, drink beer and let their brains rot?

i tend to think a lot
and that leads to wanting to drink beer and watch t.v.

life is a big joke... can't take it TOO seriously people.

I can't laccept the dea that the meaning of life is to be happy.
The value of happiness somewhat drops off when you're always happy. You have to have sadness and everything in there, to truly value your happiness.
Which ties into the 'stupid vs. smart' theory. Sure, ignorance is bliss. Yes, I believe that. But bliss without proper realization of just how precious that bliss is, can't truly be bliss.
