I'm a sucker for space films and this one sucked me in good and proper. God awful shite is the most polite way I can describe this film.
Astronauts get stuck on Mars - it was done better with those other two films - Red Planet and Mission To Mars.
This is the first film I've seen with really, really shit acting in. OK, some films are shite and the actors are shite - but this one takes it to new levels. Most notably the female captain and some blonde bloke who seems to be the space equivalent of a 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy' sent to Mars to decorate it or something. Their acting is what you'd expect from a 70's Australian soap opera - eg. Prisoner Cell Block H.
Steer clear of this.
