I have to keeping hit F5 in order to mark a forum read, to see my posts and read new posts to threads.

So when you read a post, it is still highlighted as a post you haven't read?

Mine's the same. It stays highlighted.

It's not cause you're hitting the back button is it? If you leave the site and then come back later, are all the threads still highlighted as though you never read them?

I'll look into it.....if you find the whole forum deleted tomorrow, you know who to blame!! ;)

I did absolutely nothing. Either I'm amazingly brilliant or the forum Gods actually exist.

Mine's the same, but don't worry about it. In fact, it's a good thing because I still get logged out all the time, but when I log back in, the unread ones are still highlighted.

Do you have a firewall or some kind of protection software? That maybe too strict or playing around with stuff.

No, no..it's not any of that. I just blame it on dialup service because cable and dsl aren't available where I live....then on top of that...a crappy ISP. Fuck it. Best if you just ignore any bitching I do about logout and the like. Doesn't mean I'll stop bitching, but it does mean that I know there's no point to my doing it. And all is right with the world.
