OK, this has kind of become a tradition around these parts, not that it's ever worked or even been remotely funny, but I shall persist as the potential is extremely massive......kind of, if you really squint your eyes and pretend a lot.

Anyway.

When the 900th user joins I shall start a post welcoming them to the forum. We then have to argue with each other. eg.

Post 1 - welcome to the forum memberX
Post 2 - no it's not
Post 3 - yes, this is a welcome
Post 4 - I refuse to be a part of this, ban me.
etc, etc, etc into the depths of hilarity.

I meant when the waiting is over.

I think it comes from the fact that opera singers, usually fat women, sang at the end of theatre performances or something like that.*
