Doctors have seen thousands of female genitals. Some of them are probaby pretty nasty. Since you haven't had sex, you won't have an STD. Anyway, it's their job and they know what they're doing.

I used to have a girlfriend who said there was no way in hell some doctor (male or female) would ever get to look at her privates, and she was in her 20s and never been to a gynocologist. She used to get really bad pains in her pelvic region but still refused to go. I don't know what happened to her, but worst-case scenario would be that something was wrong, but it wasn't diagnosed, it couldn't be treated.
