http://2005.bloggies.com - there are some Blog awards. Anyway, I don't write a blog or even read blogs because I don't much like them generally, but here are the best ones, but have you seen the prizes? Shite! If you win the best blog in UK and Ireland you win 10 quid, a kitkat and a book.

So, I was thinking this could be an easy way to get some exposure and help some blogger get something more than 10 poxy quid. YOU can help out by suggesting a category Shiola.com could sponsor and the prize we can give away. Try to pick a relevant category (Food or Latin isn't really covered by Shiola.com) and then try to pick a bizarre prize that has some loose connection with the category. The Humourous or UK or USA categories would probably be best....or the Tagline category, cause none of them are as good as 'What's The Point?'.

The max I'm willing to piss down the drain for this exercise is around $50 (25 quid).

A blog about "Should I report myself to the authorities?" ...you could have several of these from people who want to see if their crime or indiscretions should be punishable to the fullest extent of the law.

How about a blog that rants about forums?

They're often posted by persons
who want to share their opinions & problems exclusively, well "blog" that!

The Fleshlight 3000 as a prize Static? That's genius. It's a metaphor meaning that all bloggers can go fuck themselves, cause who does a blogger love more than the sound of their own keyboard typing more meaningless shit?

Or a book on the growing Amercian superpower and dominance for the best Middle Eastern weblog.

A far right, conservative Christian book on morals and values for the Gay and Lesbian blog.

A book on starvation for the best food weblog.

I'm thinking the Fleshlight 3000 can be submitted to the Lifetime acheivement award, as these bloggers have been polluting the internet airways since 2001.
