Well, at least it actually looks like something, and the colours are ok, but basically it's not what I would call a work of art, art gcse was harder than that.

i actually kinda like this one. im not much fo art usually but this is probably one of the few good ones on this list.

Hockney obviously has some bigtime connections in the snobby play "art" world to get this amateurish painting out there.
And if he's as lazy and greedy as the typical modern or postmodern artist, he probably did pay a nine year old a candy bar to paint it!

This actually looks okay. The backround and the forground are done in complete different styles, but that's all right. It's a picture, there appears to have been some effort put into it, as in, it's not just slopping paint on the thing, and it doesn't hurt my eyes. I think this is actually decent. I wouldn't mind modern art all that much if it was more like this, actual pictures.
